Sparkles Terms & Conditions

PARTY BOOKING
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Any payments made over and above the minimum deposit of either (£30 Standard/ £75 Exclusive) will be treated as deposit monies and are non-refundable.
  • Payment of a deposit to book a party confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • In the event of your cancellation of a party (for any reason whatsoever) deposits will not be refunded. In certain circumstances a transfer of deposit to an alternative date may be considered but is at the absolute discretion of Sparkles Adventure Play Ltd.
  • We politely request that guests do not arrive any sooner than 5 mins before the allocated party time and vacate promptly at the end of the party to allow us time to service the area for the next guests.
  • Please complete the Invite list and return to Sparkles prior to your party as this will ensure you’re only charged for the children you invite. Siblings will be charged for at reception if not on Invite list.
  • You are welcome to photograph/film your party however please respect the privacy of other centre users and avoid photographing/filming in public areas.
  • Sparkles is a parentally supervised play area and parents/guardians always remain responsible for children. Recommended minimum ratio 1 adult per 5 children.
  • Children over the height of 4’9’’ (1.45m) or 11+ years old will NOT be permitted to enter the equipment. Those 11 to 17 years of age are NOT permitted to be used as supervisors.
  • For a public session party, we will reserve seating for up to 18 guests on the tables allocated, please make sure your guests sit only at these seats. Should the need arise for more seating please ask a member of staff to avoid any additional costs (£20 per table) being added to your final bill.
  • Parties wishing to bring or use the services of companies supplying characters/mascots/face painters must be approved by Sparkles Adventure Play Ltd. A valid public liability insurance certificate will be required at least 7 days prior to your party to allow participation.
  • Further to the introduction of Natasha’s Law (1/10/21) it is the responsibility of the party parents/host(s) to inform their guests of the ingredients and allergen information for any birthday cake that you supply for your party.
  • We ask that you inform us of any specific dietary requirements, such as Vegetarian, Kosher, Halal, Diabetic, Gluten Free etc. Although we will try our best to accommodate specific dietary requirements, we do require advance notice and request that you tell us on the invite List of your child’s party. Please understand that it is not always possible for us to meet every requirement. Please ask to check ingredients if necessary.
  • Please ensure you and all your guests have read and understood our Rules of Play displayed in our reception area.
GENERAL
  • Children must be under 4’ 9” and 10 years of age or younger to gain admission to the play area.
  • Please ensure all children use the toilet prior to entering the play area.
  • Children who are clearly unwell should not use the play area.
  • Children must remove spectacles (unless shatterproof), jewellery and any sharp objects, including badges, before entering the play area.
  • Children must remove shoes before entering the play area but must always wear socks. For safety reasons we also recommend trousers and long sleeves.
  • No food, drink or chewing gum may be consumed in the playing area, although food or drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the areas provided.
  • The management cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
  • Fire doors must always remain clear.
  • Adults are reminded that our play system has been designed with specific age-appropriate areas, please be aware of your child’s capabilities and limitations.
  • Whilst we don’t encourage adults onto the system, access will be permitted to adults 18+ to assist your child in difficulties and you do so at your own risk, however due to health and safety of all the children we ask parents not to actively play on the play system.
  • NO person aged between 11 to 17 are allowed on the play frame unless permitted to by management of the centre.
  • Please report any accident or injury to a member of our trained staff.
  • In the event of a fire Parents/Guardians are required not to enter the play frame, our staff will make a sweep of the frame and guide the children down to yourselves for you to make your way to the assembly point.
